Verdict

Jackday continues to threaten to win however he is becoming frustrating to follow and preference instead is for TERENZIUM. Micky Hammond's seven-year-old comes here on the back of a good third to Inchpast at Ripon, a race in which Jackday was 3/4 length and a place further ahead. However he was racing out of the weights on that occasion and now in the weights proper and dropped a further pound he is taken to run a big race on ground that suits. Lady Anne Nevill needs to improve for the step up in trip but this bumper performer may well do so, whilst Fistral needs to bounce back to form after his last run; he might be better judged on his close second to Holoko Heights at Ayr the time before. Graze On And On returns from hurdles today and races off a paupers mark so needs a market check. A recent run behind Master Nimbus means that Waterloo Corner needs to be closely considered, whilst at a price Park's Prodigy may run well but he has been up and down in trip like a yoyo of late. A tricky opener, but preference is for Terenzium.
