In depth

Verdict

A fiendishly difficult race in which What-A-Dancer, Endless Summer, Sawaah all hold claims and we will stick with the former. Alan Swinbank's team are in better form at present and this proven seven furlong performer while disappointing at Musselburgh on reappearance, was backed as if there had been good work shown at home. Top class juvenile Endless Summer is upped in trip to seven furlongs tonight. The market will give the best clues. Sawaah beat the ultra-consistent Whippersnapper in a seven furlong handicap. He is clearly thriving again but will need to pull out all the stops at unfavourable terms. Wessex beat Hawk Flyer at York in a decent race at York this time last season. Something most have gone badly wrong for Sheikh Mohammed to farm him out since. Atlantic Quest did show useful form for Mark Johnston but has been often backed without too much success for Geoff Harker. H Harrison rarely runs a bad race. What-A-Dancer is our idea of the winner.
