Verdict

James Turner has done a brilliant job with Bondi Beach Boy, who has now won six times since May and gone up 25lb in the process. Four of those victories have come over Beverley's stiff track but he's also won here and will take some beating. Chosen One completed a hat-trick in the spring and returned to form at Pontefract last time but he's now on his highest mark since 2011. WASEEM FARIS doesn't win often enough and it's over a year since he was last successful. But that was at York from a 4lb higher mark and his penultimate run on ground with some give at Goodwood suggests he can take this. Oil Strike completed a double in slightly lower grade and looks poorly handicapped but there are plenty of other threats in a tight handicap including Waking Warrior, still a maiden on Turf after 23 starts but three times an all-weather winner and looking on a very fair mark.
