Verdict

Elidor beat Dark Ruler in this last year and though unsuccessful since he's been racing in strong company and is by no means out of this despite being 8lb higher. The runner-up looks held on similar terms and would probably prefer softer ground. Double Discount looks a bit high in the weights and Kelinni hasn't won since arriving from Australia where he scored nine times though he's run well in some tough handicaps. DONNY ROVER completed a double in his last two starts of the last campaign, both over 1m2f, and his run in the Spring Mile last month is best ignored. This is his debut over today's trip but in the expectation he will stay he looks the one to be on. Notarised has run in strong company and has a recent run to his credit while the lightly-raced and progressive Oasis Fantasy is respected on his reappearance.
