There's rarely a meeting goes by here without Mark Johnston getting on the scoresheet and JEU DE VIVRE is his only runner at the track today. The Montjeu filly has conditions in her favour again and was only beaten a head off this mark at Hamilton last time. She can reverse Newmarket running with Apparel on 7lb better terms. The danger may be Sixty Roses, who is still a maiden but has been in decent form lately and is well worth another try over this longer trip. Gems rarely runs a bad race but the handicapper may finally have her measure, while Dance For Julie has been a little disappointing lately over hurdles and on the level. Playful Girl could be interesting off her feather weight, however, as she won on good to soft at Ripon last month and wasn't beaten far despite finishing last of five at Ayr subsequently.
