Verdict

Ginger Ted would have claims if taking part but was engaged to run at Windsor last night after being declared a non-runner at Doncaster on Sunday. Dandy Nicholls' runs three with Indian Trail and Jarrow both capable of going close on their best form, while Red Cape continues to slip down the weights and he should also figure. Malcheek is better over 7f and Illustrious Prince has yet to win on turf so the vote goes to NOODLES BLUE BOY. Ollie Pears' gelding went close when third at Bath last time and Dale Swift's 5lb claim could enable him to find the extra bit of improvement needed to get his head back in front.
