Verdict

LULU THE ZULU was having only her sixth start when scoring with a bit in hand at Nottingham and Mick Appleby's progressive mare can complete the double from just 6lb higher. Ypres is one of the most consistent sprinters around which is why he's now on a 5lb higher mark than ever before and though Hamoody has already won five races this year they have all been at a lower grade than this. Wild Sauce came good at Catterick last time but was behind Ypres at Beverley previously and Mutafaakir has only won once, at Catterick in June, and is 4lb higher.
