Verdict

Marc De Savoie cost 37,000 euros but looks like one who might need further in time, whilst similar may be true of Mutajare but at this stage of his career the trip might be ideal. He has employed front running tactics on both of his two starts to date and if he has found the heart to last the trip from those two runs he could be the one to catch. Mark Johnston also trains Colebrooke, a 90,000 guineas purchase who is related to plenty of juvenile winners over seven furlongs to a mile. Although he was less than impressive on debut, he is still learning his trade and could be the spanner in the works of CORSICANRUN. He is from a trainer who knows how to send out the two-year-old winners and this half-brother of Steinbeck may well have enough to win on debut.
