Composed is tried in first-time blinkers and takes a drop in grade while Yorkshire Icon pulled much too hard at Catterick after landing a maiden on soft ground at Beverley. Chant has shown a bit of potential and is expected to go well while it's difficult to know what to make of Angels Calling, who made her debut on very testing ground at Newcastle. Mad Jazz has won sellers at Catterick and Redcar and this isn't a big step-up in grade so she should be thereabouts but it's BLADES ROSE who is handed the vote with bottom weight as she very nearly landed a selling nursery at Yarmouth and will be suited by this quicker ground.
