        Verdict

        Ruth Carr and Kevin Ryan have won six of the last nine renewals between them. The former runs Big Storm Coming, runner-up in a tougher race at Redcar in October, but TRAIL BLAZE has a couple of runs under his belt this year. The latter won off an 11lb higher mark at this time last year and this is easier than his latest task at Nottingham. Birdman is upped in class off a 9lb higher mark as he bids for a hat-trick while Evanescent and Munfallet showed good progress last season and make more appeal than Twin Point in this grade.
