With her pedigree suggesting cut in the ground will suit very nicely GLOBAL CONQUEST should be the one they all have to beat in this fillies maiden leaving Prowl and Equinine fighting for the minor honours. We¿ve already seen three promising efforts from the selection in faster ground but as a daughter of Captain Rio it is reasonable to expect she should go even better in softer conditions. This also looks her easiest assignment so far so it should be good bye to maiden company for Pat Eddery's runner. Prowl's bloodline suggests she¿ll be better as a three-year-old as she makes a belated reappearance. We got flashes of her decent pedigree last season and if fit she is bang in the picture. Equinine showed an aptitude for this ground at Goodwood last season and she is probably best judged on her decent effort in a handicap on her penultimate start which puts her in with a chance but with the rest of the field making only limited appeal we give the vote to Global Conquest.
