TANAWAR was down to a career-low mark when bouncing back to form at Nottingham. That was an apprentice race so no penalty is picked up and he can complete a quick double. Vecheka didn't get the run of the race at Beverley last time but has become expensive to follow and is still a maiden. The three-year-old Pumaflor landed a course and distance handicap a couple of weeks ago and is only 3lb higher so must be on the short-list along with the lightly-raced Cadeaux, who makes his handicap debut after three maiden runs, and Kung Hei Fat Choy, who can never be discounted in this grade having won nine times in 64 starts, though the majority were on the all-weather.
