In depth

Verdict

Arctic Watch has a history of leg problems but that didn't prevent him landing a touch at Newton Abbot in September though he was dismounted after passing the post. Woodlark Island has been disappointing since reverting to hurdles but has dropped to a fair mark and a long absence shouldn't be a problem. Magic Prospect is still a maiden but this should be his best trip while another maiden, Anay Turge, keeps finding at least one too good. VAL MONDO showed his first sign of form since arriving from Germany when staying on over 2m1f at Lingfield last week and with his stable in outstanding form should be good enough for this.
