Verdict

ASO was denied a run by the weather yesterday but has been diverted here and can get back on the winning trail. He was far from disgraced when trying to give weight to a couple of potentially useful novices at Sandown last time and should have no problem with the extra distance on this sharp track. Kingfisher Creek didn't beat much in a Newcastle maiden last month and appears to have plenty to find but Amanto shouldn't be underestimated after a promising fourth at Exeter and Bilbrook Blaze arrives off the back of a second in a bumper. McCabe Creek may improve past stablemate Howwrongcanyoube while Pied Du Roi should improve on his second at Bangor. Vivante Poeme showed promise at Fontwell in October but has something to prove after a less-impressive effort at Market Rasen.
