In depth

Verdict

Sarin gets the call here ahead of Ellway Prospect and Hill Forts Timmy. There is no doubt that Sarin left the impression that he could be well handicapped when scoring at Hereford recently and, with connections electing to run quickly under a penalty, his credentials are there for all to see. Taunton Dominican Monk looked progresive when last seen but that was 483 days ago. Red Moor has yet to build on his Bangor win but he tries a new trip today. Hill Forts Timmy needs to find a little bit of improvement. Herne Bay would hold solid claims on his 2005 form and a recent run should have cleared his tubes. Red Society could also be given a squeak based on his 2005 form. Ellway Prospect confirmed he was on the way up with a good run at Market Rasen last time and can go well again. Mr Bigglesworth looked progressive back in 2005 but is another that is returning from an absence. Devito would hold big claims based on his 2004 form, so watch the betting, while, lightly raced and improving, Slick can go well following his novice win. Once again, though, Sarin gets the vote.
