In depth

Verdict

There are one or two promising sorts in this. Brinestine has been keeping decent company since winning over course and distance in November. Lac Sacre showed himself to be better than a plater when winning at Ffos Las while Hint Of Mint beat some useful novices here last time and has also scored at Leicester this season. Moujik Borget is only a pound higher than when winning at Haydock on his reappearance, but hasn't reproduced that effort since. Ourmanmassini struggles to get his head in front so we'll take PURPLE BAY to defy top weight. John Ferguson's five-year-old has a touch of class and has been waiting for better ground- his turn of foot could be decisive around here.
