      Verdict

The drop in trip should suit Delena and she gets the vote ahead of stablemate Floradora Do and Caoba. The selection didn't seem to get home over a longer trip last time out and now back over a more manageable distance, she can get her head in front. She is evidently no star of the stable but she looks the one on jockey bookings. Stablemate Floradora Do has her limitations as well but she has won at the track in the past (bumper) and today's quicker ground will suit, althouigh it may be worth bearing in mind that she will be eligible for handicaps after this run. Caoba is already qualified for handicaps yet she takes her chance in this maiden hurdle, suggesting that connections may not be overly enamoured with her current rating of 100. Colinette has claims, but like Tootsie Too might be one for handicaps, whilst at a price Alecia might go well having shaped with promise on her debut. An open race, with Ping Pong Sivola yet another to consider, however we will side with Delena.
