In depth

Verdict

A large chunk of a penalty for December's win at Uttoxeter is offset by a conditional's claim so HORIZONTAL SPEED looks to have every chance of going in again. Philip Hobbs' charge makes more appeal than Fountains Mary, who scored on a faster surface at Plumpton on her debut while Garryleigh has his first start under Rules for David Pipe since landing a point-to-point in April 2011. Princess Annabelle has plenty to find despite getting lumps of weight but it's worth keeping an eye on the newcomers Lightentertainment and Milo Man, especially the latter who cost 60,000euros as a three-year-old.
