In depth

Verdict

Winning bumper God Of The Kop may have made a successful start over timber at Worcester but for being impeded and falling two out and was also hampered at Newbury last time. He deserves a change of luck and could get it here though ORABORA may prove more than a match. Philip Hobbs' charge won a maiden hurdle at Chepstow, for which he is penalised, and was in touch going nicely when falling at the third last in a much better race at Exeter. He can give weight all round and gain compensation as Paul Nicholls' Saphir Du Rheu looked anything but a safe jumper on his UK debut at Newbury and will need to jump much better here.
