PAGAN SWORD has been game in defeat of late and is taken to get his head in front this time around at the expense of Inmate and Hereweareagain. The selection has had a string of near misses of late finishing second and third more often than not. He has risen seven pounds in the ratings for his troubles but if at his best he is sure to give his supporters another good run for their money. Inmate caught the eye at Newton Abbot last time out after finishing a fair second. That was his first run for a year off through injury and he should benefit fitness wise for the outing. Hereweareagain is still only lightly raced and looks a little harshly treated for what he has achieved to date. He has top weight to lump around and others are preferred. Pagan Sword looks nicely treated and looks the percentage call.
