Verdict

A fascinating race in which a chance is taken on TIMESAWASTIN. A recruit from Ireland, he was a gallant second to Hidden Universe at Leopardstown on his sole start. Now with Evan Williams, this son of Curtain Time can make the most of the weight he gets from the previous winners. Two French recruits of interest; San Remo Bello and Renard D'Irlande. The former won over hurdles in France and his dam is from the family of Azertyuiop, whilst the latter was a winner of two bumpers at Machecould in February. Madame Jasmine won a Fontwell bumper but needs to improve, a comment that also applies to What An Oscar and Beau Colonel. Of more interest is Owen Glendower who jumped well on his hurdling bow at Worcester and is not discounted under a penalty.
