In depth

Verdict

Avant Gardiste, Ndola and Monash Lad make the shortlist here, with Avant Gardiste looking the safest conveyance for your money. Ndola is only a modest performer, having won a selling handicap hurdle two outings ago, but he has proved quick enough to score on the all-weather on the Flat, and in this open afair he is respected. Monash Lad has also won in selling class and ran well in a handicap last time to be placed. He has ability and looks sure to hit the frame. Flat winner, Avant Gardiste has a success in a similar contest to his credit two outings ago, and he was run out of it on the run in last time. He has been raised a further six pounds, but with his main rivals unproven in handicap grade, Avant Gardiste can score again.
