Verdict

KING OF THE NIGHT is taken to land the bumper, while One Cool Tornado is among potential dangers. The selection has just one Irish bumper run for Adrian Maguire before switching to Paul Nicholls, for whom he makes his British debut today. He was a beaten favourite on that first run, but he will surely have learned plenty from the experience and with the yard's good record in this sphere he is likely to be good enough this time. One Cool Tornado has the champ on board and tries fast ground for the first time here after a couple of runs in Ireland when there has been cut. He may well be seen to better effect now and is respected. Iron Steve looks a tricky ride, having unseated on debut and then tried to run out last time, and Paddy Brennan may be concentrating on simply getting him around, rather than winning just yet. Maelstrom Sea should be better for his debut, when he appeared to act on the going, and Jo Joe's Lot, Naughty Naughty and Rhythm Seeker are all worth market checks now that they have some experience, to glean what sort of stable confidence there is. King Of The Night can rule
