In depth

Verdict

Heavy ground could be blamed for Scales' poor showing at Ffos Las last time and he has every chance of bouncing back in this. Moss On The Hill won a novices' event at Fakenham in January and looks to be improving but Halifax appears to be heading in the opposite direction. Unowhatimeanharry was well out of his depth in the National Spirit at Fontwell last time but had been placed in his three previous starts over timber. SKY WATCH tries his best but keeps finding at least one too good. His luck may change here, however, as he seems suited by sharp tracks and his rider's 10lb claim will be a big help.
