Verdict

With four of the 10 runners, Bernard Llewellyn will be confident of getting at least one in the frame. Kozmina Bay, successful in a novices' handicap at Uttoxeter in December, may be the Caerphilly handler's best hope ahead of Taunton second Captain Sharpe. OSGOOD would be an interesting contender if anywhere near his best and is given a tentative vote with Joseph Akehurst taking off 7lb as he has a lot more pace than Douchkirk.
