In depth

Verdict

Farleigh House is probably better known as a chaser but he's no slouch over timber and likes it here. Laudatory's last win came over C&D in March while Crazy Bold was second at Uttoxeter on his latest start and is still at the right end of the handicap. He makes more appeal than the disappointing Scales and Causeway King, who has shown virtually nothing since returning from injury. HENRY SAN is still unexposed over hurdles and has had a couple of runs on the Flat since finishing third at Bangor in May. He doesn't appear particularly well handicapped but could still be the one to beat, though Keep Kicking is usually well backed and shouldn't remain a maiden for much longer.
