Verdict

Another tricky race with a decent size field going to post but hopefully AQUALUNG can fend off Mac Halen and Don't Tell The Wife. The selection has been given some stiff tasks throughout his career but he looks very much at home in this grade. It will be tough for him to carry top weight but he is a big scopey French bred and may well be up to the task. He put in another improved effort on his latest start when staying on late to grab second in a competitive event. He looks to be improving and back in this grade he rates a serious danger to all. Hopefully the ground doesn't dry out too much and he should go well. Mac Halen is from a yard that does well in the summer months and his latest effort was a step in the right direction. It was only a modest affair he ran in but he looks to be progressive. Don't Tell The Wife is from a top stable so he must be monitored. His recent spell chasing hasn't worked out and back over hurdles he is a danger. Others to note in a very tough and open race include Intersky Music, Ethiopia and I'm Supreme but Aqualung gets the vote.
