Verdict

MIBLEU chases the hat-trick today and gets the verdict with Master Nimbus and Jubilant Note expected to make up the minors. The Robert and Sally Alner trained selection has recorded victories at Newton Abbot and Worcester recently and is clearly in great heart. The gelding is an assertive type with good attitude. He clearly has no problem with the 17f and again comes under the ride of Keiran Burke who has guided him to victory on both occasions this year, so he is our confident selection. Master Nimbus was a winner over this trip when last seen and should be the selections biggest threat. The John Quinn trained nine-year-old has won on the last three occasions and looks an impressive sort. Things may be a tad more difficult for him today but in this sort of form he should at least make the minors. Jubilant Note has looked impressive over the last couple of outings and should make the frame today. He travelled well last time but looked a little one paced. He should make the frame here but will be under pressure from the likes of Thunder Rock and Dishdasha both of whom are in decent form of late, the latter a winner last time out, but a race of this quality could see the pair finishing just behind the principles. Mibleu gets the nod in what should be a very competitive encounter.
