It will be interesting to see if there is any market support for Alan Swinbank's newcomer Carefree Flapper, who is bred to be useful being out of a half-sister to the owner's User Friendly and she looks worth chancing first time out in a weak contest where the main threats look to be Sky Masterson and Winged Farasi. The last mentioned has shown some promise in all four starts but is proving to be hard to win with and may have to settle for a minor role again. Paul Cole's Danetime Panther has given little sign of encouragement so far, while newcomer Istead Rise makes limited appeal on pedigree on his debut. John Gosden's Sky Masterson should come on for his Newmarket debut and has to be considered but Carefree Flapper makes plenty of appeal on debut and she gets the vote.
