DAWN COMMANDER is the highest rated of these over jumps and wasn't beaten far in a similar contest at Kempton in December. Charlie Longsdon's charge can come out best if taking to the surface. The Fonz ran well for a long way in one of these races at Lingfield earlier in the year and should be thereabouts while The Fox's Decree has been holding his form over hurdles and fences of late and can also figure. Billy Cuckoo also arrives in good heart and makes more appeal than both Charming Lad and American Life.
