      Verdict

      After winning his last three starts, EVEN STEVENS has to race off a 16lb higher mark than for the latest of them but such was the ease of his last two victories on this surface, Dandy Nicholls' progressive sprinter is taken to defy the handicapper and continue his winning ways. Shostakovich saves his best for Fibresand but looks too high in the weights now, as does Restless Bay, whose only victory so far came on Polytrack. Winning Draw won her maiden here back in August and there should be more to come on her handicap debut, while Mazovian is another open to improvement.
