In depth

Verdict

Kylkenny is the pick in preference to Bentley Brook and Maslak. The old boy rolled back the years last time out to secure an emotional success and with the handicapper only seeking to raise him 4lbs, it might not be enough to stop a repeat. Bentley Brook defied a seven-month absence to oblige at the course last time out. Paul Blockley has been quick to turn him out under a penalty. Maslak finally got his head infront after many easier opportunities last month. A tendancy to hang looks ugly but he is perfectly genuine. Satindra has already produced a return on investment for 800 guineas. He had run some fair races in Ireland and is still in with a chance off a platers mark. Right Option is arguably better over further. Spares And Repairs started off life in bumpers and has had three outings on the level. Now is the time to see if the handicapper has done his sums properly. Impostor should be fit from hurdling. Kylkenny confirmed himself to be in some measure of form and is taken to post a double-up.
