In depth

Verdict

Another small field, with preference being for SALEROSA ahead of another course and distance winner Mozayada and Implication. Ann Duffield's filly loves it round here, with three wins from her four runs over a mile and slightly shorter. She's got a good attitude, and is the yard's only runner on the card. She gains weight all round, but is in the best current form. Mozayada is another whose best form is here albeit not as recently. The two met here last month, with Salerosa finishing ahead of her rival and she's now got more of a weight advantage too. Implication's one win to date came with some cut in the ground at Newcastle, but she's only managed runners up spots on the all-weather and they've been on the Polytrack, so there may be a question about whether she'll handle the track. It looks like a tight little handicap, but we like the look of Salerosa.
