Verdict

Folk Tune has found life difficult in handicaps but John Quinn's nine-year-old is always of interest in plating grade and he seems to get on particularly well with the stable's conditional, Dean Pratt. KACK HANDED looked a useful prospect in his younger days and though he may not have achieved all that was anticipated of him; a recent success over fences at Ffos Las suggests that he retains some ability. He can make a first drop into the grade count. Topenhall takes a similar step though a no show on reappearance substantially dents our enthusiasm for Ben Case's veteran. Any runner from the Jim Best yard is worthy of interest in this sphere and Goodwood Starlight will represent the Lewes handler. The seven-year-old won a seller at Uttoxeter last season and he should be fit enough for this assignment having had two recent spins on the Flat.
