In depth

Verdict

Carrie McCurry, Vadinka and New York Oscar form the shortlist in a tricky contest to open the card and the vote is given to Carrie McCurry. The selection caught the eye with a decent effort on her debut at Leopardstown and she put in another solid effort at Wolverhampton behind Teasing. She is dropped in trip here but is well-drawn and she should take plenty of beating. Vadinka has got some fair form but he has had plenty of chances without being able to take one and although he will again run his race he looks worth taking on. New York Oscar made a promising debut but failed to build on tha last time and with thiws in mind the percentage call is to take him on. Mujamead has the plum draw and remains unexposed so is worth noting in the market, but Carrie McCurry looks progressive and gets the vote.
