Verdict

A 9lb rise for seven-length course and distance winner Kingaroo still leaves him out of the handicap and at this higher level he may be found wanting so we'll take him on with GOODLUKIN LUCY. Pat Eddery's filly won her maiden over this trip at Musselburgh and also scored over 10f in a Leicester handicap from a mark of 72. She is 1lb below that today for her first try on the Fibresand and she may prove good enough. Affinity is very much a danger from a mark 2lb above that which she won from over this trip at Wolverhampton, while the handicapper has not been too hard on Hunters Belt, who came back to form here last time and should again be very competitive.
