RUBY ISABEL is a likely looking type and heads the short-list from Rudinero and Donny Briggs. The last named hails from a yard that could hardly be in better form and it would be no surprise to see this bumper winner show significantly improved form on his first venture into handicap company. Rudinero made light of a long lay-off to fill third spot at Wincanton and is entitled to improve for the outing although it's worth noting that he was solid in the market so was presumably pretty straight for that outing. King's Majesty hasn't won for a while but is fairly treated as a result whilst Insignia ran well last time and should be equally effective over this shorter trip but preference is for Ruby Isabel. The selection only troubled the judge once for her previous team but now represents some shrewd connections and it would be no surprise to see her attract market support in what appears to be a realistic opportunity for Ruby Isabel to open her account.
