Verdict

All Guns Firing just about sets the standard but DUBAI CREEK ran well last time and gets the vote, with Cozy Tiger next best. Donald McCain's charge responded well to pressure before finding a well-backed favourite too good here last time, but today's extra furlong could bring about further improvement so this son of Cape Cross should be hard to beat with Paul Hanagan taking the ride once more. All Guns Firing is more exposed than our pick and the maiden in which he took second last time looked an average affair, but Declan Carroll's charge still sets the standard on the pick of his efforts and goes well here, so he's fancied to fill second ahead of Cozy Tiger. The five-year-old makes his debut here but on breeding he should act on the surface, so whilst he'll need to improve upon a last time out second to figure that remains possible. In a weak affair the three named look to have by far the most solid credentials, with the unexposed Try Cat having over ten lengths to find with our pick on their meeting last time and Flannel looking moderate at best. Haka Dancer was ahead of Try Cat last time but is no certainty to repeat that and looks held behind the principles, whilst Ta Aleem was a very cheap purchase for new connections and needs to improve plenty. A less than competitive contest, but one that provides Dubai Creek with a seemingly straightforward opportunity to score.
