In depth

Verdict

Miss Medici's best effort so far came over this C&D, while Rano Pano finished third over 6f here in June when today's rival SCROOBY DOO was runner-up. The latter has since finished a respectable seventh in much better company and his early pace should stand him in good stead dropping back to the minimum trip for the first time. He's preferred to the Irish raider Great Ability, who has shown nothing of the kind though did manage a second at Dundalk in May. Whisky Bravo has gone backwards since a promising debut at Beverley early in the season and newcomer Planet I T makes no appeal while the remainder are also hard to fancy.
