Verdict

It should pay to stick with GOSFORTH PARK in this. He was having only his second outing of the year when scoring over track and trip last Friday and this looks no tougher despite a 6lb penalty. Mel Brittain's charge is just preferred to last month's maiden winner Sky High Diver, who opened her account in soft ground at Newcastle and looks sure to be in the firing-line on her handicap bow. The remainder are an uninspiring bunch, but Marina Ballerina may do better stepping up in trip, while Carnac and Jackie Kiely have the past form to figure.
