Verdict

Beau Fighter's long losing run may come to end soon judged on his latest effort when third to Irish Jugger at this track. He's closely matched with Light The City on that form, but the latter has bit to find with Laura Land on last month's running at Wolverhampton. Carnac has looked in the handicapper's grip for a while now, but Sea Cliff could figure off his current mark. However, MAGIC HAZE wasn't disgraced in finishing fourth to Stanley Rigby over a shorter trip here in January and Sally Hall's C&D winner can get back to winning ways dropped in class today.
