In depth

Verdict

Outlaw Torn added to his tally of wins on the Polytrack at Wolverhampton last week but has yet to score on this surface. Mataajir carries a penalty for his recent win over track and trip when General Tufto finished back in third. The latter had scored at this track before that with QUEEN OF SKIES in close attendance. Mike Appleby's mare can take her revenge on more favourable terms and come out best. Xclusive easily won a maiden race here a week ago and makes more appeal than Xpres Maite, a prolific course winner but unreliable.
