Verdict

A trio of these are closely matched on recent running at the track with George Benjamin beating Munaawib a length here last month. The latter re-opposes on better terms and went on to win a seller here when just getting the better of Lutine Charlie, who is also weighted to reverse running at today's weights. With those already mentioned hard to separate, it could pay to take a chance on VICTORIAN NUMBER. Geoffrey Deacon's charge has been threatening to get his head in front at Lingfield of late and his earlier form on soft ground in France suggests he may well take to this surface.
