Sea Cliff could be a leading player if taking to fibresand but the proven claims of SABANCAYA are preferred and she's fancied to confirm her running with Fortunella. The selection is the obvious one here having barely broken sweat when shedding her maiden tag over a mile and six. A 6lb penalty gives Fortunella a theoretical chance of bridging the five length gap but the winner was value for more than the winning margin and appeals as the stronger stayer. Amron Hill stayed on gamely to win on his penultimate start and would be a leading contender if his subsequent outing at Wolverhampton is overlooked and it may pay to do just that. Sea Cliff is one of the more interesting horses in this line-up as he has been made favourite for his two most recent outings at Lingfield and hasn't been entirely disgraced. He takes a significant step up in trip for his fibresand bow and the combination may enable him to be competitive. It doesn't always pay to look beyond the obvious though and Sabancaya has obvious claims.
