    Verdict

CLEAR ICE is our call with Angie's Nap and Valmina also worth a look in the market. It is always dangerous to take plating form literally but Clear Ice has looked slightly better than that grade in the past and back to a much more suitable trip, we think that at the likely odds, Dandy Nicholls' charge represents some value. Angie's Nap is some 4lb higher than she was when taking a nursery at the track in November. She finished behind the well named Point To Prove over the five furlong trip. Valmina represents a yard that are having winners at the moment. If he takes to the surface, he should win but from a punting perspective, his price is likely to reflect that accordingly. Athwaab won a Kempton nursery for Ed Dunlop. He has since joined Mick Quinlan and will be making a reappearance following a fair sized absence. Clear Ice has impressed us over course and distance in the past and we believe he can graduate out of plating company today.
