Verdict

Weet A surprise gets the vote in a trappy opener with Lambrini Lace and Mac Dalia rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Wrenigham and under similar conditions here in a poor race he is taken to win again. Lambrini Lace rates the main danger on his latest third behind Valhillen;en but he has already indicated he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip and he is taken on with this in mind. Mac Dalia is another that could go well on his best form but he has not progressed as expected and at likely odds he is taken on. My Kaiser Chief is unexposed and could improve but his overall profile leaves him with a little to find and with this in mind for the winner we return to Weet A Surprise to small stakes.
