Efisio Princess won this last year and makes the short-list along with Premier Lad but preference is for ANGEL SONG. Sir Mark Prescott's filly has been off the track since disappointing in September but she may well have benefited from the break. She appeared to find the minimum at Kempton on the sharp side but this test looks tailor made for her as she showed when winning her maiden. Efisio Princess is 13lbs higher than when scoring a year ago but is in form and has such a good record at the track that she can't be left out of calculations. Premier Lad has returned a beaten favourite over course and distance the last twice but has been fairly treated by the handicapper and is a pound lower than for his latest start. He's unlikely to lack for fitness and may have more improvement in him. This is typically competitive but those three make most appeal to our eye and Angel Song is taken to come out on top.
