Verdict

Some top yards are represented here and we will plump for the Ed Dunlop trained Benandonner, with Spinning and Indian Sabre put forward as the main dangers. Benandonner has shown signs of greenness in two outings but could now be ready to show his true ability. He was fourth in what looked a stronger race than this on the turf at Lingfield last time and with that experience under his belt he may be ready to strike gold. Indian saber finished behind the selection on that occasion but doesn¿t have too much ground to make up. As with Benandonner he is open to improvement as well and could reach the places. Spinning has yet to run a bad race and is rated in the mid-seventies. He hails from a yard still in great form and it would be no surprise to see this one go very close. All Clued Up could prove best of the others, but if Benandonner handles the surface he should be good enough to take first prize.
