Frankie Dettori is a rare visitor to Southwell and he may be able to improve his modest strike rate by steering STEF AND STELIO to victory. He may have most to fear from Katy's Secret and Clear Ice. The last named has his work cut out at the weights although he does have the assistance of Kieren Fallon in the saddle. He's rated 7lbs below Stef And Stelio yet has to concede weight to his rival courtesy of his course and distance success. His ability to handle the track is a positive but Stef And Stelio has also proved his effectiveness at this venue having finished in the money on both visits. It's a negative that he's yet to get his head in front but he may be able to make the most of this opportunity. Katy's Secret was backed into favouritism for a Folkestone handicap last time so it's interesting that her shrewd connections have opted to drop her in grade so swiftly. She doesn't have a great deal to find and has to be feared. Blue Zephyr may find some improvement for headgear whilst Anjomarba is nothing if not consistent but Stef And Stelio may be able to take the honours.
