Verdict

Strong Knight, Revolutionary and Locum all have claims on the best of their recent placed efforts, though the latter was below par over a longer trip at Wolverhampton last time. MASLAK finished ahead of him on that occasion and, given the latter has shown signs of a revival of late, Peter Hiatt's charge gets the vote now racing off a 12lb lower mark than when scoring over C&D nearly a year ago. Beverley winner Gosforth Park made a belated seasonal debut at Newcastle last month and makes most appeal of the remainder with that run under his belt.
